The PTA/PTO's of Mill Creek Academy, Wards Creek Elementary School, Pacetti Bay Middle School and Picolata Crossing Elementary School will be teaming up for the 5th annual READY.SET.GLOW 5K & Fun Run. This will be taking place at Ring Power on World Commerce Parkway.
This race is a chip timed and will include racing packets, T-shirts, and racing bibs. Also included are medals for the 5K finishers and finisher prizes for the Fun Run finishers.
The purpose of this event is to increase community involvement and support in student learning, to bring awareness to health & fitness & to raise needed funds for technology and educational enhancements in the classrooms. Proceeds from this race will be split between the four schools.
The registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for students for the 5k. The Fun Run is $10. Prices for the adults will increase by $5 February 24th, the student price will stay the same throughout registration.
The Fun Run will start at 7:45 p.m. and the 5k at 8:05 p.m.
Awards will be given to the top overall male and female and top overall masters male and female.
Age-group certificates will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each of the following male and female age groups, based on gun start time.
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
